It is a little while before the actual season starts, but there are quite a few intriguing storylines for the Dallas Cowboys to examine as they get through training camp in the Alamodome in San Antonio.
According to Tim MacMahon of the Dallas Morning News, Marc Colombo and Flozell Adams won’t be practicing as much down in San Antonio in order to reduce wear-and-tear on their legs.
The offensive line is going to have to be good for this team to go far, and it’s going to be a challenge for a veteran-laden crew. Kyle Kosier is going to have to come back from a foot injury that kept him out for just about all of last season if this line is going to be worth anything.
Robert Brewster and Doug Free will probably make this team, and Montrae Holland should get some significant playing time to spell the veterans.
In the secondary, there are a host of guys – Orlando Scandrick and Mike Jenkins just to mention two – that will be fighting it out for spots.
The secondary is going to be the biggest key for the Dallas Cowboys this year, and the position they need to sort out the most in training camp.
Hopefully it will be a fun season; one that Dallas Cowboys fans remember for a long time. But that all starts next week in San Antonio, at training camp.
