Dallas Cowboys Preseason Schedule Week 3 – 49ers

August 24, 2009 by

CowboysStadium

The new Dallas Cowboys Stadium’s first game was a success for the Cowboys football team, but the game presentation left a lot of room for improvement. The stadium announcer was reportedly calling Felix Jones “Julian Jones” who has not been a Dallas Cowboy for several seasons. The huge HD screen is to low and was hit by punts in warm ups, as well as by a punt during the game. The rumor around Dallas is that Jerry Jones will be spending some more money on Cowboys Stadium so that the Jumbotron screens will have the ability to be raised or lowered. The Cowboys looked great against the Titans in their 30-10 win, It will be interesting to see which team shows up this week against the San Francisco 49ers.

Keys to the game:
The Cowboys need to stop RB Frank Gore and the 49ers running game. The 49ers do not have much of an attack through the air so the cowboys secondary should shine. The offense needs to come out with the same mindset it did against the Titans, and if Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys Quarterbacks can complete 76% of their passes like last week the offense should move the ball very efficiently again.

Prediction:Dallas Cowboys 24 – San Francisco 49ers 13
