Cowboys Stadium has already had a fair share of headline events in its short existence, from international soccer matches to the upcoming U2 concert and rumor has it the Cowboys might play there as well. As with every major sports venue parking is a big worry for most event goers, this post will help you save some money and headaches when heading to Cowboys Stadium.

Arlington has opened up some lots that were just sitting vacant in downtown Arlington on nights and weekends. These lots are about 1.4 miles away from Cowboys Stadium and do not offer any shuttle service so wear some comfortable shoes and show up early if you plan on parking in the downtown Arlington city lots. These lots are located in the following locations:

  • City Hall (Abram at Center Street, Downtown)
  • Meadowbrook Park (south of Abram between Collins and Stadium Drive)

We bought a parking pass at http://www.parkwhiz.com for $38.50. The parking lot was only a 10 minute walk from the stadium and we were able to avoid a lot of the post-game traffic since we weren’t parked at the stadium.
