Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Redskins
November 16, 2009 by Matt Lawrence ·
Dallas Cowboys Last Week: The Cowboys played one of the sloppiest games of the season on Sunday, the turnovers and injuries were too much to overcome. The Dallas Cowboys offense lost 2 fumbles and Romo was intercepted near the Packers goal line. The worst thing that happened on Sunday was no doubt offensive lineman Marc Colombo breaking his left fibula, in Colombo’s absence Romo was sacked 5 times. To read more about the Cowboy’s sloppy play against the Packers read the Cowboys Recap.
Cowboys-Redskins This Week: This week the Cowboys will play the Redskins at home after 2 weeks on the road. The Boys were able to beat the Eagles in Philadelphia, but couldn’t overcome mistakes and injuries to beat the Packers.
The Cowboys will need to beat the Redskins in order to ensure they stay alone atop the NFC East standings. The Redskins have been terrible this year, their front office has been a mess for most of the season, but last week the Washington Redskins beat the Denver Broncos. So what does this mean? The Redskins won the game after getting the momentum from a touchdown on a fake punt, and an injury kept Denver QB Kyle Orton sidelined in the second half, so not much. The Cowboys should beat the Redskins if they can sort out the offense, mainly the offensive line. Prediction: Cowboys 21 Redskins 17

This is from a southerner. The Redskins have this game hands down.
I disagree with you Phil, I think the Cowboys will take this one.
Did Troy Aikmen just say that receivers and coaches have been talking about how to get open since football was invented????? What a dunce! Troy, as a quarterback you should know that the forward pass wasn’t even a legal play until 1905. Com’on Troy. Learn the history of the game that made you.
