The Dallas Cowboys will face the Tennessee Titans in week 2 of their NFL preseason. This game will be the first NFL football game played in the new Cowboys Stadium. The Titans head coach Jeff Fisher has told reporters that his starters will be playing an entire half of this preseason game. Hopefully the Dallas Cowboys will follow suit and do the same so we do not have to watch our backups get rolled up like they did last week against the Raiders.

Last week the Dallas Cowboys starters got out to a 7 – 3 lead over the Raiders with a touchdown pass from Tony Romo to Jason Witten. Then the reserves came showed us a preview of the drastic difference in talent between starters and backups on the 2009 Dallas Cowboys. Hopefully the lack of talent in key backup positions in the first preseason preview was a fluke. If we have this big of a drop off in talent we will have huge problems when injuries occur this season.

Injuries have already sidelined Dallas Cowboys WR Roy WIlliiams and CB Terence Newman, but both have returned and practiced this week and Roy has said that he will be in the game for sure.

Key things to watch for this week are how the Cowboys defense handles the running tandem of LenDale White and Chris Johnson. Also can the Dallas back ups show that last week was simply a fluke?

Key Additions:
Dallas Cowboys:
LB Keith Brooking (Free Agent), S Gerald Sensabaugh (FA), DE Igor Olshansky (FA), QB Jon Kitna (Trade)
Tennessee Titans:
CB DeMarcus Faggins, T Jovan Haye, WR Nate Washington

Key Subtractions:
Dallas Cowboys:
LB Greg Ellis, WR Terrell Owens, S Roy Williams, CB Anthony Henry
Tennessee Titans:
DT Albert Haynesworth, WR Brandon Jones, CB Eric King

The cowboys recievers need to get better hands if they want to win games.

Which plays are you talking about? They looked pretty good to me, the cowboys quarterbacks completed 76% of their throws which means the receivers only dropped 24% of the passes at most.
