Mark Cuban and Donnie Nelson believe that the Mavericks are only a couple of pieces away from winning a championship, but such pieces will come through free agency or trade rather than the draft. I agree with you that the Mavericks would be better off with Devin Harris, but I also think that it is still possible to win a championship with Jason Kidd, as long as he is surrounded by the right talent. The challenge for Cuban and Nelson is to find that right mix of talent for a championship run. @Angel,

The Kidd trade was a mistake and will always be a mistake and the mavericks owner Mark Cuban and little Donnie Nelson will never admit it because the have to much pride, but the mavericks would of been better off with Devin Harris. as long as the mavericks keep Jason Kidd they will never win a championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
