Martellus Bennett Video | Martellus Raps

It is with great regret that I must inform you, the reader, that Martellus Bennet has removed his controversial rap from YouTube. Nevertheless, I have found another video of the Rhymenocerous in all his glory.
One of the saddest trends in sports is the growing number of super star athletes who have convinced themselves that they can have a successful career as a rapper. Dallas Cowboys tight-end Martellus Bennett joins the list as the newest in a long line of athletes turned musician.
I have found a video of Martellus Bennett rapping. It is… umm….. interesting.
Pause for a moment to enjoy the musical stylings of Martellus Bennett.
I know.
It’s sad.
Don’t get me wrong, I really want to rip on this guy. I just can’t think of the words to describe this brand of douchebaggery. I am at a complete loss.
To be honest, the Martellus Bennet video makes Eric Cartman look like Andrea Boccelli. Here is the proof.
Hopefully Martellus Bennett will give up on the music career and stick to football. Leave the singing to the professionals.

I am late on what he did to cause such an uproar. This topic is being discussed on FirstTake as we speak. The gentleman on the show who is black in his 40’s (Steven something) was quite disgusted about the situation as well as Skip Bayless. I knew when I watched the Cowboys spring training last year on HBO, that this guy was going to be trouble. I heard that he was on the Michael Irvin radio show yesterday and appearantly he still finds the incident funny. Being a black man in my 40’s myself, if this got the guy on firsttake heated I’m not sure if I want to know what he did. Calvin Hill needs to pull this guy to the side and set him straight. Martellus needs to speak to guys like Jim Brown and former black players to explain the struggles of black football players who paved the way for fools like him to have an opportunity to play the game. As they say, it is an honor and a privelage to play in the NFL and today’s players need to recognize that. Jerry needs to suspend him for half the season with out pay to get his message across, cause not only does this young brutha represents black people, he also represents the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL.
