Texas Rangers Tickets, TV Channels & Times
June 4, 2010 by Matt Lawrence · Leave a Comment
The Texas Rangers took 2 of 3 from the struggling White Sox and will get a real test this weekend ve the Rays. The Rangers are currently tied with Oakland for first place in the AL West. Even though the Rangers tried to give away the lead of the AL West with a 4 game losing streak at the end of May, the AL West is just so terrible this year they couldn’t do it. The Rangers best two bats this year have no doubt been Vladimir Guerrero and Nelson Cruz, however both are out of the lineup. Vladimir is day to day after taking a baseball to the face during a practice session and Nelson Cruz is on the 15 day DL starting on May 29th. Nelson has had hamstring issues all season, but hopefully this stint on the 15 day DL will get him the rest he needs.
Crowds at the Ballpark in Arlington have been decent this year, and if the Rangers can stay relevant, which shouldn’t be a problem with the lack of solid competition in the AL West, they should remain this way. Make sure you get tickets and get out to some games before it gets too hot for the summer. Also the Tampa Bay Rays offer a great chance to see just how the Rangers look against a playoff contender without 1 or 2 of their big bats.
