The PGA Tour will continue the 2010 Texas swing this weekend at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial and the playing field will have some significantly bigger names. Some of the bigger name golfers that will be playing in the 2010 Colonial Golf Tournament include: Angel Cabrera, Stewart Cink, John Daly, David Duval, Jim Furyk, Lucas Glover, Zach Johnson, Justin Leonard, Hunter Mahan, Phil Mickelson, Geoff Ogilvy just to name a few. While it was a nice story that local youngster Jordan Spieth from Dallas played well in the tournament, this weeks tournament shouldn’t need a story like that to captivate golf fans. Thanks to the fact that the Crowne Plaza Invitational at the Colonial has a deeper field, the ratings and attendance should be improved.
