The talk in Dallas has been that Mike Modano will be retiring this offseason. Personally, I hope he retires instead of going the route of many other athletes, you know playing for a team in the twilight of their career only to disappoint. However, whatever Mike Modano decides he will always be remembered for Stars Stanley Cup win and being the best American born player in the NHL. It is no surprise that the Dallas Stars are ready to move on, Modano’s production has dropped significantly over the past three seasons. He has actually finished the season in the minus for all 3.
