Dallas Mavericks Schedule March 2010
February 26, 2010 by Matt Lawrence · Leave a Comment
There is lots to be excited about in regards to the Dallas Mavericks. The team was able to get rid of some team kryptonite in Josh Howard which is a plus by itself. However when you add to this that we got Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood in return this deal was definitely a steal for the Mavericks. The only player I didn’t want to see go is Drew Gooden, even though he is one of the most inefficient players his hustle factor was there every night.
The Mavericks schedule in March will be pretty friendly as we make our playoff push, because of this only 2 games will make it to National Television. Tickets are still available for upcoming games, and I recommend checking out StubHub if you are planning to head to the games. There are two don’t miss games in the month of March, both the Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets will swim through town.

Dallas Mavericks Schedule February
January 29, 2010 by Matt Lawrence · Leave a Comment

The Dallas Mavericks lead the NBA Southwest Standings at the beginning of February. Coach Rick Carlisle shook up the team’s starting lineup, Jason “Jet” Terry is now starting at 2 guard. Terry has responded with great shooting, he replaces Josh Howard who has not been consistent this season to say the least.
The NBA schedule for February 2010 will have the Mavs playing 13 games, 7 on the road and 6 at the American Airlines Center. The two games that I recommend going to see if you live in Dallas are against the Lakers and Suns. Below you will find what TV channel and game time for the Mavs. Cheap Tickets for the Mavericks games are still available at StubHub.com!.

Cowboys 2010 – 2011 Schedule & Opponents
January 25, 2010 by Matt Lawrence · 1 Comment
The Cowboys Season is over after a heartbreaking loss in Minnesota. Jason Garrett seemed to forget that the Vikings have one of the best Defensive Lines in the NFL when he was making the game plan. Seriously why would you run Barber outside when you have Jones & Choice.
All that aside, now that the 2009 – 2010 Season is over lets look at the opponents that will be on the 2010 – 2011 Dallas Cowboys schedule. I think that everyone will agree that the Cowboys schedule is going to be tough one this season.

Dallas Stars TV Schedule – December
December 3, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Despite a winning record the Dallas Stars are in 4th place in the Pacific Division. The Stars are tied for the 7th spot in the Western Conference at the start of December largely due to the growing pains of learning a new system. Brad Richard leads the team with 32 points, 25 of which are assists. The Stars December schedule will have them playing their Pacific Division rivals for most of the month. As we get later into the season expect the Stars to move up the standings as they learn the new system and it becomes second nature to them on the ice.

Last chance up north: 2009 PGA Championship TV Schedule and Preview
July 22, 2009 by Cody Dunlap · 2 Comments
After a scintillating British Open (even without Tiger Woods making the cut), the 2009 PGA Championship is coming up fast, set to begin August 13 at Hazeltine Golf Club in Minnesota. Tiger Woods will be looking to rebound after only the second missed cut in a major in his career.
Hazeltine has hosted big championships before, with the 1970 and 1991 U.S. Opens both being held there along with the 2002 PGA Championship.
Padraig Harrington is trying to defend his title in the 2009 PGA Championship, but has struggled with swing changes this year and that was evident at the British Open, opening at -1 but finishing at +12.
Here are some other past winners for the PGA Championship, hoping to add their name to the trophy again in 2009: Read more
Dallas Stars release 2009-2010 schedule
July 16, 2009 by Cody Dunlap · Leave a Comment
Yesterday the Dallas Stars released their schedule for the 2009-2010 season, as they hope to rebound from a highly disappointing 08-09 campaign. You can check out the full schedule here. A few noteworthy aspects:
- After opening at home against Nashville October 3, the Stars have a tough first road trip: at Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. Fortunately the games are spread out over the course of six days.
- Stars fans won’t get to see two of the most dynamic players in hockey, as Pittsburgh’s Sidney Crosby and Washington’s Alex Ovechkin won’t make trips to the AAC this year. The Stars play both teams back to back in March on the road.
- The Winter Olympics will be held next year in Vancouver from Feb. 14-28, putting the NHL on a two-week hiatus. The Games might be welcome for the Stars, as they play four of their last five games before the break and three of their first five after the break on the road.
- The longest home stand comes in the middle of March – when the Stars are home for six straight from March 12 to March 21. The Stars have two four-game home stands and three three-game home stands.
- The longest road trip comes in December, as the Stars will play five straight away from home December 8-17. The Stars also have two four-game trips and six three-game trips.
Last year, for what it’s worth, the schedule seemed to be much more balanced. The Stars had four three-game homestands and four three-game road trip.
One four-game home stand. One four-game road trip.
One six-game home stand. One five-game road trip. (The Stars went 2-8-1 in these eleven games)
It’s hard to properly judge the Stars based on last season because of the staggering amount of injuries. I don’t think the Stars will have quite the poor record they did last season, but I also think they don’t have much room for error. With Tom Hicks having well-documented financial problems, this seems to be a team that will have to hope for a lot of internal improvement. If Marty Turco has the kind of season he had in 2007-2008 and Morrow and Richards are both healthy and productive, this team could make some noise. Otherwise, it could be another long year.
