Hawaii Bowl – SMU Mustangs vs Nevada Wolfpack

SMU will play in a bowl game for the first time since 1984! The Mustangs finished in a tie for first place in the Conference USA West Division. SMU Coach June Jones has done a nice job turning an ailing SMU Football program around after a 1-11 season last year. The Mustangs finished the 2009 regular season at 7 – 5.
The Nevada Wolf Pack will be the Mustangs opponent in the 2009 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. The Wolf Pack started their season off with three losses before rattling off 8 wins before falling to Boise State in the WAC Championship.
