Chevrolet and Transformers have teamed up to bring you their Super Bowl commercials early, so don’t wait until the game to see these when you can watch them on the Chevrolet YouTune channel right now.

My favorites were the Al’s Chevrolet spot and the Miss Evelyn spot. Which spot did you like? Comment below.

It just came down that the 2014 Super Bowl will be played in New York / New Jersey at the new home of the New York Giants and New York Jets. This cold weather superbowl may open the door for further Super Bowls to be played in the colder cities of the NFL. Opposition to a Super Bowl in the cold cited the possibility of a weather delayed Super Bowl.

The 2010 Final Four odds are in, but the fans of the <a href="http://www.dallassportsfans.com/category/dallas-cowboys-nfl/"title="Dallas Cowboys News" >Dallas Cowboys have other things on their minds. Even the best online sportsbook makers had a difficult time keeping the Cowboys out of the Super Bowl contender bracket. The Cowboys even got that December monkey off their backs in 2009 by only losing two games that month as opposed to the four or five they normally lose in December.

But a Dallas Cowboys report for the 2010 season must talk about the Super Bowl. The sports betting community believes that the Cowboys are already 10 to 1 favorites to win the Super Bowl this year, but odds on favorites are the Indianapolis Colts at 6 to 1. To win the Super Bowl the Cowboys need to win a playoff spot in the NFC while building a team that can beat Peyton Manning in February of 2011. The Cowboys may have done that.

The first move the Cowboys will make is to put Felix Jones in as the starting running back over Marion Barber. Why is this important? The New Orleans Saints are an NFC team unlike any other NFC team because they primarily throw the ball. Peyton Manning and the Colts also primarily throw the ball. Felix Jones is very good at pounding the ball for yards, and he also has break-away speed. The longer the Cowboys have the ball on offense, the less guys like Drew Brees and Peyton Manning have the ball.

Only in the land of the Cowboys can the job for place kicker be a primary concern. The Cowboys lost too many games last season due to bad field goal kicking, and now long kicker David Buehler is being given every chance to win both the kick-off and place kicking jobs from Connor Hughes. The Cowboys would prefer to not take up a roster spot for an extra kicker, but they are also not going to make the mistake of putting someone on the field that cannot win the game for them.

Staying with special teams, the Cowboys made sure that restricted free agent and kick return ace Sam Hurd will be on the team this season. Hurd will make an estimated $1.8 million for the season, and he will be a powerful weapon in getting the team field position.

The NBA betting in Dallas is centered around the playoff-bound <a href="http://www.dallassportsfans.com/mavericks-schedule-december/"title="Mavericks TV & Game Times" >Mavericks. But in Cowboys’ camp the central focus is that offensive line. This is the area of greatest weakness for the Cowboys right now, and it is also the area that the team has yet to address.

Rumors are beginning to fly about Flozell Adams being let go and someone being brought in from free agency or a trade. The Cowboys have a lot of depth on offense, but they are not likely to give up anything in a trade right now. Free agency offers almost nothing in the way of a good offensive lineman. That leaves the draft. The more the Cowboys wait to solve their offensive line problem, the more obvious it becomes that their first round draft pick will be a lineman that they believe will be a starter. Jerry Jones knows that his team is not winning a Super Bowl if Tony Romo cannot stay standing.

Next year Dallas will play host to the 2011 Super Bowl and I thought we should take a look at 5 things that could make the Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium interesting. The only information that we know for sure so far is that the game will be at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on February 6 2011. Nicknames for Cowboys Stadium include the “Death Star” and “Jerry World”. The game will be on the FOX TV Channel and the TV Announcers will be Troy Aikman and Joe Buck.

Get Great Superbowl Tickets on StubHub.com!

If the Cowboys do make the Superbowl and are able to pull of a win, will Jerry pick up Wade just like Drew Brees did his son? Probably not, but below you will find some definite possibilities:

5.) The Record for Super Bowl Attendance is currently 103,985 set at Super Bowl XIV in Pasadena, CA.

Will Jerry Jones try to break the record? I think he will even though earlier this year he broke the regular season NFL attendance record at the expense of some Cowboys Fans. The Stadium Record is 105,121 set against the New York Giants, so it is a definite possibility to over sell the standing area only tickets (Party Pass) again to set another record.

If you are planning on attending the Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium, it is my recommendation to purchase a ticket to an actual seat. This picture from the Dallasnews.com shows how difficult it will be to see from the Party Decks.

4.) Will Martellus Bennett aka MartyBTV aka Jupiters_Crunch make a rap about the Super Bowl and Jerry Jones Money?
I hope he does, here is his I love Captain Crunch Rap. If you didn’t know Martellus is a Tight End for the <a href="http://www.dallassportsfans.com/category/dallas-cowboys-nfl/"title="Dallas Cowboys News" >Dallas Cowboys.

Will former <a href="http://www.dallassportsfans.com/category/texas-rangers/"title="Texas Rangers Current Articles" >Texas Rangers and current <a href="http://www.dallassportsfans.com/category/dallas-stars-nhl/"title="Dallas Stars News" >Dallas Stars owner Tom Hicks still own any Dallas area professional sports teams? Will He Attend the Super Bowl in the town that hates him?

Undisclosed sources report that Tom Hicks is now broke, and will not be attending the game. Judging by this picture it doesn’t look like he will be owning any teams either. However there is a rumor that Tom Hicks is going to broker a deal between 15 lenders to procure a single Super Bowl Ticket, oh wait that is how he bought all of his sports teams.

2.) What is the Over / Under on FOX filming Jerry Jones picking his nose during the broadcast?

I am setting this line to .5 / -.5 just choose whether you think Jerruh will pick a winner again on TV. Leave you booger decision in the comments section below.

How many current and former NFL players will go to jail during the Super Bowl festivities?

I believe the NFL Network’s own Warrenn Sapp went to jail this year. I am going to set the over / under at 2 here. So let me know if you think more or less than 2 current and former NFL players will go to the slammer in Dallas. I am taking the over.

The Saints and their “Who Dat” nation (possibly one of the worst slogans ever) have had a great season with Drew Brees at the Helm. You know that if Peyton Manning is healthy the Colts will be in the playoffs. That is why this years superbowl is setting up to be a quarterback duel in Miami, and I for one can’t wait.

Let’s get the important stuff out of the way first before looking at the stats and my prediction.

Saints Defense
Yards Per Game – 417.0
Points Per Game – 21

Advantage Colts, they are giving up 11 less points per game.

@MattDSF Prediction
Winner: Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have the advantage of playing in a Super Bowl recently, they will not be happy with just making it to the Super Bowl. Plus too re affirm this I heard a stat that teams that are playing a recent super bowl participant are 5 and 14.

I also think that the Colts will Cover the 5.5 point spread. The Saints were lucky to get past the Vikings, and the Colts have looked like a machine in the Playoffs.

I am going to take the under, too many times I have bet the over because it is two offensive teams, but with two weeks to prepare I think the defenses will keep the game under the 56.5 point spread.

On Radio Row at the Super Bowl, Baltimore radio host Nasty Nestor Aparicio attempted to choke Gordon Keith from Dallas radio station 1310 The Ticket. The video of the Gordon Keith fight was taken from the Ticket webcam. The altercation occurred after Gordon Keith walked over to Nasty Nestor with a microphone in an attempt to end a feud that has been going on for almost 10 years.

The audio of the incident is available on the UnTicket.com. From the audio, it is clear that Gordon Keith was not trying to provoke Nasty Nestor, who reacted quite violently.

You can also see the video of the Gordon Keith fight here.

The video does not show the initial assault, however after Nasty Nestor is shown attacking Gordon Keith again and having to be restrained by one of his assistants.

Nasty Nestor has a history of saying mean-spirited, hateful things. In May of 2008, Nasty Nestor wrote an article for a Baltimore magazine in which he disparaged the homeless. In January, Norm Hitzges tried to settle differences with Nasty Nestor, who responded with profanities and shouting. Later that week, Corby Davidson also attempted to make peace. Nasty Nestor responded with more profanity and accused Corby Davidson of having a hidden microphone. Corby then said “I swear to the good Lord I do not have a microphone.” In response, Nasty Nestor said he thought Corby didn’t even believe in God because Corby was” a F#$@ing Jew,”

This is just the latest incident involving Nasty Nestor. I hope the NFL does not allow him back to the Super Bowl after such an embarrassing childish display.

What is also disappointing is in the video, when Gordon Keith and Junior Miller complain to an NFL representative about Nasty Nestor, the representative scolds Gordon Keith for “F#$%-ing with people.” As a representative of the NFL, he should have kept out of the situation. Hopefully the NFL does what is right and bans Nestor. In this situation the Ticket did nothing wrong.

This morning on Radio Row at Super Bowl 43 in Tampa, “Nasty Nestor” Aparicio, a controversial Baltimore radio host attacked Gordon Keith. The incident is the latest in an on-going feud between Nasty Nestor and the Ticket.

We also have the video of the Gordon Keith fight. The video comes from the Ticket’s live webcam.

Apparently, Gordon Keith went over to Nasty Nestor Aparicio with a wireless microphone to attempt to bury the hatchet between the two parties, when Nasty Nestor became angry, grabbed Gordon Keith around the throat and attempted to strangle him. The two were then separated and the police were called.

This is not the first incident between Nasty Nestor and the Ticket. In 2008, at the Super Bowl coverage, Corby Davidson went to Nasty Nestor to make peace. Nestor Aparicio began swearing at Corby Davidson and accused him of having a hidden mic, to which Corby responded, “I swear to the good Lord I do not have a microphone.” Nasty Nestor then allegedly called Corby a “(Explitive)-ing Jew.”

What’s important to remember is that Corby Davidson is not Jewish. Apparently Nasty Nestor had a Mel Gibson moment.

In the latest incident, Gordon Keith did have a microphone, but it is clear from the audio that he was not trying to provoke Nasty Nestor. Keith is now considering whether or not to file charges against Nasty Nestor. Anyone who was recording the live webcast of the incident, which was broadcast on the Ticket’s webcam, is encouraged to contact the Ticket immediately.

According to the detective who interviewed both Gordon Keith and Nestor Aparicio, Nasty Nestor was swearing and yelling while talking to police.

Nasty Nestor is no stranger to controversy. In addition to his alleged anti-semitic comments, Nestor Arapicio has written complaining about the homeless, which garnered a huge amount of controversy in May of 2008, and led a walk-out from a Baltimore Orioles game, which caused the Orioles to deny Nasty Nestor media credentials the next season, after which Nestor threw another tantrum. Let’s rue the day free poker sees Nestor’s wrath.

Update

Gordon Keith has not said anything more regarding the incident, but he did post about it on his blog.

Even if you cannot get into the game, or hate both teams, there is still one great part of the game, the Super Bowl Commercials.

Over the years there have been some real gems. Who can forget the “WAZZUP” commercial, or the “Nothing But Net” spot. As you prepare for the big game on Sunday, stop for a moment and re-live some of the best Super Bowl Commercials from the past.

First off lets get the serious ones out of the way. Often viewed as one of the best Super Bowl commercials ever, the 1984 Macintosh Commercial is definitely lacking the funny, though the chick in the Hooter’s uniform is kinda random. Just watch it and get ready for comic gold.

There. That’s over. Now to the good stuff.

For those at work, please stop and consider the consequences of reviewing some of the best Super Bowl Commercials ever while on the job. Here is a reminder of what could happen if you are caught by your very own Office Linebacker.

One of the best of the 2008 Super Bowl commercials was the screamer ad. A husband and wife are off on a pleasant country drive when disaster nearly strikes as the couple almost runs down a squirrell. thankfully everyone is ok, but it was truly a close call.

This one received a significant amount of controversy, but I still think it is one of the best Super Bowl commercials ever. Every guy has had a moment where he does something that calls his sexuality into question. There is only one true way to prove you manhood.

This next one is just glorious. Japan has Mothra and Godzilla. America has something even better.

Never trust your friends. This next ad shows why.

Streaking is always discouraged at sporting events. It is disruptive and takes away from the spirit of any game. It is still a worldwide phenomenon, striking at games all over the world.

And now, this last one may not be the best Super Bowl commercial ever, but it is truly a moment of genius. Will Ferrell in truly a moment of glory. Enjoy the sage wisdom of Jackie Moon.

There you have it. Some of the best Super Bowl Commercials. Hopefully Super Bowl 43 will have some other comedic gems that will stand the test of time.
